Subtext is still in beta, so everything is free for now. Two to three stories will stay free forever, and future originals will be unlocked by patrons. You'll always be able to create and share your own stories for free, though importing community stories will eventually be limited on the free tier.

Every story is someone's phone in your hands: their messages, their photos, their socials, their bad decisions at 2 AM. You read, you reply, you choose, and the story goes where you push it.

The official stories, written by us and updated with new chapters every month. Every genre texts differently:

• The slow burn who takes three days to reply. On purpose.
• The girlfriend who tells you everything. Almost everything.
• The wrong number who texted you by accident and never left.
• The ex who "just saw your story." At 3 AM.

First out of the gate: Movie Night. Every Thursday she goes to movie night at Amy's place. Girls only, until Amy's coworker started bringing wine. Don't worry, she tells you everything. Right?
