Verify ownership of a Steam game

Use either your Gmail address or X account. The same contact must be published on the game's Steam store page.

  1. Open the store-page editor

    Open the app in Steamworks and select Edit Store Page.

  2. Open Basic Info

    Select the Basic Info tab.

Add at least one verification contact

You may add X, Gmail, or both.

Option A

X account

Under Social Media Links, select X and enter your complete X profile URL.

Option B

Gmail address

Under Support Contact Info, enter the Gmail address you will use to sign in to Steamy NSFW.

  1. Save the changes

    Select Save at the bottom of the page.

  2. Open Publish

    Return to the top of the editor and select Publish.

  3. Publish to public

    Select Publish to public so Steam exposes the updated contact.

Sign in and verify

Sign in with the published Gmail or X account, then enter the game's Steam App ID under Developer verification.
